How to Make Cleaning a Stress-Free Task: Tips from Cleaning Professionals

September 6, 2023

People often choose to have these unusual-looking kittens as their pets, not just because of their good looks. These creatures will be your faithful, devoted friends and the society you can only wish for. For a moment, they transform from a lap cuddle ball into a playful pet that can entertain you for hours. Besides, there are many other reasons why you should get a Ragdoll.

Tender and Affectionate Fur Balls

Cats are not known for their love and affection towards their owners. Ragdolls are an exception to this rule, as these kittens simply enjoy being around you and spending time cuddling. Due to their lovable nature, these blue-eyed angels are always ready to jump into your lap, be by your side, and give you some comfort and tenderness.

Ragdolls are always in the mood to show some love. Simply, these felines love to get a hug, and they also love to be petted and snuggled. Despite their size, these cats enjoy being carried in arms, like a real rag doll. You can often hear them purr, which means they are happy.

You should know that Ragdolls are also very loyal and willing to stay with their humans. You will also find that your pet is very friendly towards other people. But you have to let your pets judge and choose their human friends.

They Are Great Playmates

Ragdolls are known for their playful nature. While their favorite activity is lying in your lap or carrying in your arms, these cats won’t say no to playtime. They can play for hours if they find something that can entertain them. But they can get bored quickly, so you have to provide them with a variety of toys.

Although they don’t mind playing alone, Ragdolls will often ask their owners to join them. In that sense, these cats are a bit high-maintenance because they enjoy the company and playing with their humans. They will also get along with other pets (even dogs) due to their sociability and mild temperament.

Intelligent and Independent

Some people would say Ragdolls are too cute to be real, but these cats are more than fluffy fur balls. They are considered one of the most intelligent cat breeds. These cats can be seen as quite independent, and they can easily entertain themselves if you’re not around. On this source, find some ideas on how to make periods of loneliness easier for your pet.

Ragdolls are not overly bonded with their owners and not too demanding in the way they need to be. But they won’t mind you being around. In fact, they will enjoy your company as long as you play or cuddle them. These felines can take short periods of solitude if you leave them enough toys and things that will keep them occupied for a while.

You should also know that Ragdolls are easy to train. When they are young, they are able to learn right away. So you can teach them some simple tricks, like bringing things or playing fetch. In fact, you can even teach them to walk on a leash.

While these cats are really playful, they are also very alert. This is one thing that many people do not realize about these Ragdolls. Although they sometimes seem too laid-back, these animals actually can take good care of themselves. If they are startled, they can quickly react and know they are in danger.

Getting Well with Kids

The fact Ragdolls love kids is cute and logical at the same time. The youngest ones are always fond of playing around with new things. The same goes for this breed, whose members will enjoy being around your youngsters. So if you love kids and look for an appropriate pet, you should definitely look into getting a Ragdoll.

Kids can sometimes be too rough or reckless to animals. You have to teach them not to hurt animals, but they usually do that not on purpose. Ragdolls can be especially interesting to them due to their unusual appearance and playfulness. Luckily, these cats can be pretty tolerant toward tiny humans.

Good-Looking Pet

While this factor is not crucial when choosing a pet, we must not neglect the beauty and uniqueness of Ragdolls. The big floppy fur and deep blue eyes are their trademarks. These kittens have thick, bushy coats that add to their cuteness. The hair can be medium-length or long, which means it requires extra care to keep it soft and healthy.

Being a cat owner means you are in charge of providing them a good life. That means regular grooming, vet checks, and taking proper daily care of them. But none of these should be a problem, as Ragdoll personality is super friendly and smooth.

Beauty is just one part of the mosaic that makes up Ragdolls. Their character is what makes them truly special and different from other pets. These felines will make your life filled with love and attention. They are very lovable, and they will be best friends to your kids. They are great animals, and they are going to make wonderful pets.
