Below is a collection of low-maintenance indoor plants across the world for your consideration.

  • Bamboo Plant- Originally from Southeast Asia, bamboo is one of the easiest shrubs to care for. A significant Feng Shui plant can be seen in many Indian households. The fortunate bamboo can be cultivated in both clean water (which must be cleaned every two weeks) and soil, and is best put near a window for indirect sunshine. The plant can also be moulded into a variety of organic formations for aesthetic reasons with some clever trimming. Bamboo serves to maintain the atmosphere pure since it is a natural air cleanser.
  • Aloe Vera Plant- Aloe vera is a short-stemmed shrub that is frequently referred to as a “miracle plant.” Aloe is a category of blooming succulent plants that comprises around 500 species. Aloe vera leaves are sticky, upright, and form a thick cluster. The gel produced from the plant’s leaves has several uses. Aloe vera is a low-maintenance succulent that benefits your health, appearance, and home décor all at the same time. This beautiful plant must be kept near a sunny spot where it will receive adequate light.
  • Ferns Plant- Ferns are the only land plants that have two different living structures, thus the ferny plant we see out in the bush generates spores, and when those spores are discharged, they do not develop back into a new ferny plant. They develop into a small plant known as a gametophyte. Due to its rich green dome of petals, ferns are one of India’s most beloved plants. They require a modest amount of sunshine and wet soil to thrive. Regular watering and a gentle sprinkling of the leaves will maintain them fresh and bright.
  • Anthurium Plant- Anthurium is a luxurious plant that blooms nearly all year and can quickly be the main focus of your interior decoration. These are available in a number of colours, and keeping them indoors is simpler than you might expect. The plant requires indirect sunshine as well as modest yet consistent watering. Such indoor plants are epiphytes, a form of air plant native to warm, tropical climates where they grow on the surfaces of many other plants or in thick organic soil. As a result, the Anthurium is incredibly hardy and requires minimal maintenance.
  • Snake Plant- The snake plant, also known as mother-in-law’s tongue which is a hardy perennial that can grow from 6 inches to several feet tall. Snake plants provide a variety of health advantages in addition to creating elegance. It absorbs pollutants and poisons from the air and transforms co2 into oxygen, making it an easy-care indoor plant that flourishes in poor lighting.
  • Dracaena Reflexa Plant- Dracaena reflexa is a renowned houseplant native to Madagascar as well as other Indian Ocean islands. The plant name is based on the Greek term drakaina, which means “female dragon,” and refers to a reddish sticky substance found in the branches of dracaena that has been compared to dragon blood. This slow-growing houseplant, which looks best on a dressing table or mantle, adds a vivid harmony of natural colours to your room with its beautifully coloured green, lime, and yellow petals. The Dracaena Reflexa plant, often known as the “Song of India,” requires indirect sunshine and regular watering to keep its leaves bright.
  • Money Plant- Money Plant gets its name from the form of its leaves, which are round, heart-shaped, flat, dark green, and plump that resembles a coin. Climbers and trailers are also options for this perennial. Young plants have heart-shaped leaves that are 3 to 4 inches long. This plant is usually grown indoors.  An easy-to-grow soil and water-grown Indian plant, this is one of the most popular Indian plants around. When used in conjunction with Feng Shui concepts, the money plant helps to enhance the air quality in the home and produces a positive atmosphere.
  • Peace Lily Plant- Such plants have dark green leaves and white “flowers” most popularly. In reality, the flower is actually a leaf bract that develops on top of the plant. Peace lilies, like several other renowned houseplants, require intermediate to low sunlight. Peace lilies improve indoor air quality in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. There is little to no need for sunshine, and they are easy to grow. The hooded blooms, which are adapted to low levels of irrigation, are extremely distinctive and attractive.
  • Grape Ivy Plant- Grape ivy is a perennial vine of the Vitaceae family that is evergreen. Perennial leaves have coarsely serrated edges and are split into three sections. As a climbing vine, grape ivy can be pruned in spring to keep its compact growth pattern. An attractive hanging vine, such as grape ivy, may improve the beauty of any part of the house. It’s a low-maintenance indoor plant that excels in low-light conditions, dry weather, and little watering conditions. Nevertheless, grape ivy is also a magnificent ornamental plant that filters the air in your house.
  • Areca Palm Plant- Areca palms have luxuriant, elegant plumes that make a remarkable complement to any home’s decor. You should position them near a south or west facing window if feasible. Watering regularly and uprooting as needed will allow the areca palm to reach a height of 7 feet. Areca palms are easy to care for inside, but they won’t take mistreatment. It’s best to maintain the soil gently moist in spring and early summer and let it dry out a bit in the winter months, respectively. Use a time-release fertiliser to nourish the areca palms in the summertime.

Throughout the living room, you’ll discover Monstera plants growing in large planters that take up entire corners. To maintain this plant, you only need to water it in the evening approximately once per week. Monstera requires a lot of trimming because of its rapid growth and gigantic size.
